‘Agatha All Along’ series reverse Marvel’s downward trend?

Marvel’s succumbing to wokeness has all but ruined the franchise, with longtime comic book fans fleeing as their favorite MCU characters were gendered, raced, or otherwise altered to be more socially acceptable.

However, Disney+ will soon be debuting a new series called “Agatha All Along,” centered around Agatha Harkness, the villain from Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision.”

Can “Agatha” reverse Marvel’s downward spiral?

The series doesn’t premiere until September, but even judging by the trailer, Lauren is concerned the show will be another money pit.

First, she doesn’t think the series will garner enough attention.

“The character was not particularly popular in the comics or on the show that first introduced her, WandaVision,” she says.

Additionally, according to a rumor Lauren knows, “the reason they’re giving Agatha her own series isn’t just because she could be another girlboss character they can use, but also because they want to bring back the Scarlet Witch in the MCU.”

The show’s producers also seem wary of the series, considering it was announced in 2021 but won’t premiere until 2022. three A few years later.

“I think the drawn-out production period was at least partially due to uncertainty among the show’s creators,” Lauren said, adding that “the series had four different names at various times” – a name that “had already been announced to the public,” further solidifying the notion that there was an air of doubt surrounding the show.

MCU fans are also skeptical of the series being more “horror-centric” than other MCU shows, but Lauren could enjoy a darker series.if Disney can make that happen.”

As for the series’ wokeness meter, there are rumours that “they might make Agatha herself gay, or at least bisexual,” Lauren says. Leap into Comics Article.

“I think we should expect this show to be completely in line with the recent M-She-U,” she predicts, “and personally, I’m looking forward to seeing how far it goes. [‘Agatha All Along’] That’s what happens eventually.”

Despite its many flaws, Lauren sees some bright spots in the show.

“It doesn’t look cheap,” she says.

Although Aubrey Plaza stars, Lauren doubts “whether she’s enough to save the series.”
