Aja Wilson followed Usher’s advice and burned it.
The two-time WNBA Finals MVP slammed her Aces teammates after their disappointing 93-85 home loss to the Sky after the game, when they seemed more focused on taking photos with the famous R&B artist.
“They haven’t done anything all day and now they want to get their picture taken with Usher,” Wilson quipped, right before posing for a photo with the “Yeee!” singer.

While it’s easy to believe Wilson was joking about her teammates’ excitement to meet the eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer, she seemed genuinely upset that she got so little help from them in Tuesday’s loss.
The 27-year-old led the team with an incredible 28 points and 14 rebounds, but only two other Aces scored in double figures in the loss, which dropped the Aces to 16-8 and 8-5 at home.
Rookie Kate Martin also left the game in the first quarter with a lower right leg injury.
One of the teammates who was photographed talking with Usher before Wilson was Chelsea Gray, who finished with a modest seven points, five assists and two rebounds.
The judges also got in on the fun. YouTube video posted by Vegas Sports Today.
But Wilson’s mood quickly changed as Usher approached, the two embraced and the former South Carolina star smiled.
She presented Usher with the jersey, but one of her teammates seemed to wonder why his jersey wasn’t presented to a celebrity.
Not wanting to miss an opportunity to socialize, teammates shared Wilson’s jersey and then posed for photos with Usher.
Asher and Wilson actually have a history together, and after the Aces beat the Liberty to win the championship last year, Wilson begged Asher to celebrate with the team.
“Asher, I miss you, Asher.” “It was a great game,” Wilson said after the Aces won the series 3-1.“I’m not messing with you, Asher.”
Wilson was given food by Usher while singing “There Goes My Baby” during the concert. As seen in a TikTok posted by ESPNW in October 2023.
