Al Pacino has opened up about his near-death experience.

In a new interview with new york times In a public release on Saturday, the 84-year-old Scarface actor detailed the terrifying moment he blacked out while battling COVID-19 in 2020.

“There was no pulse,” he said. “Within minutes [the paramedics] There was an ambulance in front of my house. There were about six paramedics and two doctors in that living room, and they were dressed like they were from outer space or something. ”

The Oscar-winning actor said he began to feel “sick” before losing consciousness.

“I couldn't see any white light or anything,” said Pacino, who was suffering from a high fever and dehydration at the time. “There's nothing there. I've never thought about that in my life. But actors, once you say you're dead, it sounds good. What do you mean, there's nothing left? mosquito?”

Despite the tense moment, Pacino said he is not afraid of death.

Pacino also reflected on his longtime role as a father, saying he would “like to be around a little bit more if possible” for his children.

However Pacino and his girlfriend Alfalah The two remain lovers and recently finalized a custody agreement in a Los Angeles court shortly after the birth of their son.

“Al and Noor are working well together and have come to a mutual agreement regarding their child Roman,” a representative for the actor told FOX News Digital at the time. “A lot of people are saying, 'Did they break up?' or 'Did they break up?' They're still together.” ”

Details of Pacino and Alfalla's agreement were not disclosed in documents filed in a Los Angeles court in 2023 and obtained by Fox News Digital. By waiving the right to contest parentage in court, the couple legally acknowledged that they were both Roman's parents.

Pacino is obligated to pay $30,000 a month in child support to Alfalla and has been granted visitation rights to his children. Alfalah was awarded primary physical custody. The child support figure was based on Pacino's annual income of $2.5 million. According to court documents, the monthly payments may vary, but the actor will never make more than $90,000 a month.
