An armed fugitive wanted in connection with three murders in Oklahoma was arrested in a wooded area of Arkansas, authorities said.
According to Arkansas State Police, suspect Stacey Lee Drake, 50, was found around 10 a.m. Thursday in Morrilton, a city northwest of Little Rock.
“Drake is wanted in connection with a murder and autojacking incident in Oklahoma and has other felony warrants out for his arrest in multiple jurisdictions for robbery, autojacking and murder,” police said in a statement.
Investigators released a photo of Drake, wearing a green shirt, surrounded by officers. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Conway County Detention Center.
Stacey Lee Drake is described as “armed and dangerous.”

Officers with the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office responded to the business on Tuesday and “once they entered the building they found an adult male and female inside,” the release said.
“Both individuals suffered injuries consistent with homicide,” OSBI said, adding that a vehicle believed to have been stolen from the area by Drake was recovered in Morrilton later that night.
Then on Wednesday, Arkansas State Police said Drake “is known to have purchased camping equipment and there are indications he is currently in the Morrilton area.” Investigators believe the suspect is “armed and dangerous,” police said.
