Alarming nanny cam footage shown during Tyreek Hill's trial with his ex-wife

A nanny cam video emerged during the civil trial of Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill against her estranged husband, Tyreek Hill.

Vaccaro is seeking both punitive and compensatory damages from Hill. The initial day of the trial featured unsettling footage that a Miami judge prohibited reporters from airing, whether in video or audio format. However, a producer from Law & Crime/Court TV described the content on Tuesday to managing editor Cathy Russon.

The trial focuses on an incident from 2024 involving Hill, Vaccaro, and Vaccaro’s mother.

According to Russon’s post, the nanny cam captured a clear view of their daughter, Capri, who was born in November 2024.

In the video, Vaccaro allegedly shouted, “Stop! Stop! Help! Help!” while Hill responded with, “You don’t scare me, bro! You ain’t nothing but a broke bitch!”

He persisted, “I don’t need you in my life! What’s wrong with you?”

Vaccaro urged him to “Stop it!”

Their daughter began to fuss, prompting Hill to go to the crib and pick her up.

Later, Vaccaro could be heard screaming “Stop!” as her mother asked Hill to “leave her alone.”

Furthermore, during the trial, Vaccaro recounted a troubling instance where Hill allegedly punched her in the stomach while she was pregnant in July 2024.

“The first time he struck at my stomach and punched it, and I saved myself,” she testified, tears streaming down her cheeks. “He was like, ‘I don’t want the baby.’”

She recalled attempting to block the punch with her hand and described this incident as possibly the “worst of these abuse times.”

Vaccaro added, “He grabbed my hair, ripped it out, throwing all my things. And obviously I was vulnerable; I was pregnant, and he treated me like I was like a man.”

Hill has denied all allegations against him, and his attorneys tried to suggest that Vaccaro’s motives were financially driven from the outset of their relationship.

The proceedings concluded around 5 p.m. ET, and cross-examination is scheduled to resume Wednesday morning.

This isn’t Hill’s first encounter with legal issues over his football career. In 2014, he faced arrest in Oklahoma for allegedly assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal, with whom he has three children. This incident led to his dismissal from Oklahoma State’s football program, and he later pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation, receiving three years’ probation.

Then, in March 2019, Hill was investigated for alleged battery after his three-year-old son broke an arm, though no criminal charges were filed.

Hill and Vaccaro tied the knot in November 2023, but she filed for divorce in April 2025—just a day after police were called to their home regarding an alleged assault, which did not lead to charges.

The 32-year-old is currently a free agent, looking to rebound after a knee injury sidelined him for the remainder of the 2025 season.

There are rumors of him discussing a possible return to the Chiefs following injuries sustained during a recent game against the Raiders.
