Word has it that Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are eyeing a move to New Jersey, specifically the upscale suburb of Montclair, which is known for attracting celebrities and media figures.
Sources indicate that the couple, who have seven kids, are already looking into schools in the area. Baldwin has some familiarity with Montclair; in fact, his film “Limelife” was shot at a local high school.
Montclair isn’t just any town; it’s also where notable figures like Stephen Colbert, Michael Strahan, and musician Bobby Brown reside. Interestingly, NFL player Aaron Rodgers is reportedly moving to the area soon, having purchased a mansion for $9.5 million.
In addition, this place has a bit of history. Buzz Aldrin, the famed astronaut, was born there, and the local middle school carries his name.
The Baldwins recently put their Hamptons home on the market, which they had described as “too small” for their large family and pets. They also own a home on Long Island and have been juggling the sale of their five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Hamptons farmhouse, which is listed for $21 million—up from the original asking price of $29 million in 2022, if you can believe it.
When we sought comment from Hilaria’s representative about the move, there was a somewhat dismissive reaction, questioning the credibility of the inquiry. While they didn’t elaborate, the response was just, “No comment.”
