On Saturday, “Infowars” host Alex Jones said in an emergency broadcast from a studio in Austin, Texas, that the site could soon be shut down by federal authorities.
“This will be my last Infowars show, because I found out yesterday that they were going to padlock the door and kick us out last night,” Jones said.
He added: “We’re going to beat these guys. I don’t want to overstate it, but it’s been a tough fight.”
Jones concluded: “I was the target of abuse. Someone framed me. Secret federal documents state I committed crimes, which of course are not true.”
Jones posted a video on Sunday explaining that she was “exhausted” after sleeping on the couch for two days.
Jones said, “To recap, I got information on Friday afternoon that there was increased security. I then called and found out that Patrick McGill, the chief restructuring officer appointed by the federal bankruptcy court, had ordered that there be increased security overnight after everyone left at 9pm to change the locks. I then called various attorneys and people looking into this. I was told it was until the court hearing on Monday. But the judge never told me to close the place down. The judge said he was going to keep the bankruptcy proceedings open until at least June 14th.”
