Alex Jones to SELL InfoWars – what’s the main takeaway?

Big changes are coming to Infowars.

Alex Jones has abandoned his attempt to declare bankruptcy and agreed to sell assets to pay the $1.5 billion in damages he owes to the families of those killed in the Sandy Hook massacre.

The victims’ families had filed in bankruptcy court in Texas to liquidate Jones’ media empire and Infowars’ parent company, Free Speech Systems. “Free speech is good, but there is a cost to lying,” explained one of the lawyers representing the families.

“There’s really no way out of this situation,” Jones said Sunday. “I’m kind of in a bunker here. Don’t worry, I’ll come back. The enemy is going to have to attack.”

Pat Gray isn’t happy with the results.

“This is unconstitutional and more people need to be outraged about this,” Gray said. “You can’t fine a guy $1.5 billion who doesn’t make that kind of money and never will.”

“I don’t like that he thought it was a hoax,” Gray added, referring to Jones’ previous claims that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax. “I think it was stupid to think it was a hoax, but I also think it was stupid to put Jones out of business because of it and sue him for $1.5 billion in damages.”

Jeffrey points out that there seems to be an ulterior motive here: to silence Jones.

“They’re already doing a pretty good job,” Gray agreed.

“If there’s one case where you can single out one thing and say, ‘This is un-American,’ it’s this. They’re taking away someone’s voice for an exorbitant amount of money,” Keith Marinak said. “I don’t care if you tell 500 lies about filling in the blanks. This is free speech.”

“It’s heartbreaking that America no longer exists in its most fundamental form,” Gray added.
