Interestingly, Zverev has dropped the first set in two of his last three matches, and in one of those, his opponent, Francisco Cerundolo, had to retire early.
While a win is still a win, I think that to consider supporting favorites at these odds, you’d want to see a more commanding display.
Then there’s Kachanov, who is quite concerning. His endurance is top-notch, and he possesses that crafty style that can disrupt anyone’s rhythm.
Kachanov looks strong going into the semi-finals, having won four out of his last 13 matches. He’s had some tough times in head-to-head matches against top-10 players this year, but his current form suggests he might just pull something off.
