Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims Fox host sexualized her during heated conflict with producer

Ocasio-Cortez Calls Out Jesse Watters Over Sexual Harassment Claims

In a recent and heated exchange, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expressed her anger toward the producers of “Jesse Watters’ Primetime,” accusing the host of sexual misconduct. She described Watters as a “pervert” for suggesting last year that he wanted to “sleep” with Stephen Miller, who serves as the White House deputy chief of staff for policy.

During the confrontation, Ocasio-Cortez confronted producer Johnny Bellisario, emphasizing, “He sexually harassed and harassed me on his show. He has engaged in horrific, exploitative rhetoric.” Bellisario quickly denied the allegations, asserting that her claims were untrue.

However, Ocasio-Cortez stood firm, further detailing her experience. She stated, “That’s true, because he accused me of wanting to sleep with him—quote unquote—with Stephen Miller. So why don’t you tell me what you think is acceptable to say to a woman? Thank you.” The exchange was captured on video and shared widely, including by Migrant Insider’s Pablo Manríquez and MeidasTouch’s Acyn Torabi.

The tense interaction referenced past comments Watters made on Fox News’ “The Five,” where he suggested, somewhat jokingly, that he thought Ocasio-Cortez had an interest in Miller. This led to her public criticism of Miller’s height, which she later amended by expressing her admiration for the “short king community.”

Watters, in his October comments, hinted at Miller being effective and influential, describing him in somewhat complimentary terms but also using the phrase “sexual bullfighter.” Ocasio-Cortez, clearly agitated with Bellisario, declared, “Either be a pervert or have me appear on your little show, but not both. Good luck!” before sharing her thoughts on social media.

In light of the controversy, Fox News has been contacted for a response. Ocasio-Cortez has long been vocal against Miller’s hardline immigration views, previously labeling him as a “clown” and humorously misrepresenting his height. Despite facing backlash, she concluded her remarks on body shaming by affirming her support for individuals, regardless of their size. “I don’t believe in body shaming,” she insisted while ensuring to clarify, “I’m talking about how big or small someone is inside.”
