Ali Larter Dazzles at The Landman Season 2 Premiere
Ali Larter made a striking appearance in a sheer burgundy outfit at the premiere of The Landman season 2, held at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on November 16.
She paired a burgundy bralette with a matching sheer cape, completing the ensemble with coordinating slacks and heels.
The actress, who once graced the runway as a model, opted for a simple look with her blonde hair down and minimal accessories, just some diamond drop earrings and a few rings.
Larter plays Angela in The Landman, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s character, and is often seen in bikinis or form-fitting clothing throughout the series.
In a recent Instagram post, she shared a mirror selfie where she sported a red bikini while filming a scene for season 2. She expressed her enthusiasm about playing Angela, saying, “Playing characters who are so comfortable in their bodies drives me.”
She also mentioned her preparation for the role involved an early start—waking up at 5:30 a.m., drinking celery juice along with coffee, working out, and getting a spray tan.
Her mesmerizing premiere look followed a chat with Fox News Digital, where she reflected positively on her decision to leave Hollywood and move to Idaho with her husband, Hayes MacArthur.
She recalled her brief schooling in California during the pandemic, noting, “I went to school for two months thinking my kids would reopen, but that wasn’t the case.”
Despite the challenges, they managed to enroll their 6-year-old daughter in kindergarten for the spring term, which she described as a significant milestone for their family. “We just wanted her to be around other kids and have that kindergarten experience,” she added.
Larter cherished the time spent as a family, enjoying skiing and getting to know other families in their town. After finishing the school year in Idaho, the family returned to Los Angeles for the summer, but she soon realized the demanding nature of life in the city.
She articulated the pressures actors face, mentioning the frequency of auditions and the expectation to attend numerous events. While she feels a strong connection to LA, she craved a lifestyle focused more on family.
“We didn’t want to do that. We want to be with our kids,” Larter said. “So, after that summer, I came back and thought, let’s give this a go and see if it works.”
