Alix Earle Reflects on Breakup with Braxton Berrios
In a heartfelt TikTok video on Saturday, Alix Earle opened up about her recent breakup with Braxton Berrios.
Starting off, the 24-year-old “Dancing with the Stars” finalist expressed her struggle with the situation. “I wanted to update you guys on my life. I think it’s tough to process, and maybe that’s why I’ve been hesitant to share. It makes it feel too real,” she explained.
Earle shared, “Braxton and I have decided to part ways. We’ve been long distance since June, and we haven’t had much time together, which has been really challenging for me. When I was in L.A., I found it hard to leave because I loved it there. I needed to focus on myself, and I think that realization was intimidating. It was like I wasn’t in the same place, and I felt like I couldn’t provide what Braxton needed.”
This video came just a week after rumors about their split surfaced. Reports indicated that their breakup was largely due to the challenges posed by distance.
Berrios, the 30-year-old NFL veteran, is currently in his first season with the Texans. Meanwhile, Earle recently secured second place in the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars.
As she continued, Earle mentioned, “I really want him to have someone who can support him fully. He didn’t ask for that from me, but I still feel this nagging guilt. I really do love Braxton; he’s my best friend. It’s been challenging to navigate this situation.” She fought back tears during this emotional revelation.
Earle reassured fans that she and Berrios maintain a good relationship and she hopes for kindness towards him from others.
“The scary part… I’m just not sure if my feelings make sense,” she said, expressing the difficulty she’s been experiencing. “It feels overwhelming, and while we want to be open about our past together, we also need some space to process everything.”
Concluding her video, she expressed gratitude for her supporters during this tough period. “I know it’s going to be a rollercoaster, but honestly, I’m not sure how to move forward just yet. A new chapter is starting.”
