Alix Earle enjoyed a night out in Miami on Saturday, coinciding with news of her breakup from Braxton Berrios, a wide receiver for the Texans.
Recently, Earle finished second on “Dancing with the Stars.” At the event, she wore a white minidress and sipped on a soda while mingling with other attendees.
On Instagram, she shared her thoughts about being back in Miami, saying, “It’s nice to see Miami again.”
It seems like Earle, at 24, is handling the breakup well after two years with 30-year-old Berrios.
According to reports, the split was confirmed, and a source mentioned that “distance was the cause.” Earle had been in Los Angeles for “Dancing with the Stars,” while Berrios was playing in Houston.
During the season finale of the show in late November, Berrios sent her a supportive video message. “I’ve seen you put everything into it from the moment you started, and I think it shows,” he said, wishing her luck as she moved forward.
Berrios, who was drafted by the Patriots in 2018, is now in his eighth NFL season with the Texans, after spending two years in Miami. Before that, he played for the Jets, even making first-team All-Pro in the 2021 season.
In the past few seasons, Earle had been there to support Berrios on game days. The couple made their red carpet debut back in July at the ESPYs, not long after Berrios’ previous relationship with Sofia Culpo ended.
This coming Sunday, Berrios and the Texans are set to face off against the Chiefs, with playoff aspirations in play for both teams.
