Alix Earle stands up for her 'undeserved' appearance in Bad Bunny's Super Bowl 2026 halftime performance

Alix Earle Responds to Critics of Super Bowl Halftime Appearance

Alix Earle has hit back against critics who deemed her “unqualified” for her role in Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.

During a TikTok update, she shared behind-the-scenes moments while at San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium, which led to backlash from her followers. One user, for instance, remarked, “Bad Bunny has never used his platform or voice to send a message. This is unbelievable and unjust.”

Earle, however, defended her participation, expressing on social media, “I have 💗, and being invited to this was such an amazing experience and so special,” as noted by Us Weekly.

At the moment, no comment has been released from Earle’s representative regarding the situation.

As for her connection with Bad Bunny, they appeared together in “Happy Gilmore 2,” and both share a mutual acquaintance in David Grutman, who is producing Earle’s upcoming reality show and co-owns Bad Bunny’s Gecko Restaurant in Miami.

Glatman commented on Bad Bunny’s choice to showcase “Gen Z faces,” stating, “We wanted to be all-encompassing…especially with the casitas. He wanted to show a little bit of everything. And I think it’s great that she becomes the face of Gen Z and so much of America.”

While some reactions were negative, others celebrated Earle for, as one fan put it, getting to the Super Bowl before “Braxton.” This refers to her prior relationship with Houston Texans player Braxton Berrios, which ended in December 2025 due to her feelings of “guilt” for not being able to support him adequately.

Recently, Earle has been linked to Tom Brady. The pair was spotted together at a New Year’s Eve event in St. Barts and reconnected during a glamorous Super Bowl celebration. Reports suggest that they are now officially “in a relationship.”
