With football growing rapidly in popularity, we're looking for people to help us grow the community we've built around our women's football site, All for XI.
All for XI is searching for a new Site Manager, and if you've already spent a fair bit of time joking about where Emma Hayes will lead the new U.S. Women's National Team or who the GOAT is now that Marta has decided to retire, this might be the perfect opportunity to take that passion to the next level — and get paid for it.
What does that even mean?
This person will be responsible for providing our readers with a variety of stories ranging from women’s perspectives to analysis, gossip and off-field culture through their excellent writing and editing skills, and also leading a small team of dedicated contributors who do the same.
This person is also adept at determining the best story formats and platforms to deliver your story and keep readers coming back for more.
Finally, this is a fully remote contract position and will be compensated with a monthly stipend.
What qualifications are you looking for?
The ideal candidate will:
- Candidates must have a passion for women's soccer, in-depth knowledge of the game and a strong understanding of how it works from the collegiate level all the way through the professional ranks (NWSL, USL Super League, USWNT, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in conceiving, creating and executing stories across multiple platforms.
- Experience writing concise, easy-to-edit copy.
- Experience writing and editing in AP style.
- You're comfortable working remotely and can hold yourself accountable for ensuring monthly content goals are met.
