Combs' attorney, Mark Agnifilo, told the outlet why federal authorities found large amounts of lubricant and baby oil at the Bad Boys Records founder's home during a raid in March.

“I don't know where the number 1,000 came from. [from] …I can't believe it's in the thousands. “I'm not sure what it has to do with baby oil,” he said.

TMZ founder Harvey Levin explained that prosecutors suspect Combs used the product as a “lube for orgies.”

“I guess. I don't know what you need for 1,000. One bottle of baby oil is enough,” Agnifilo answered.

The attorney speculated that the “Act Bad” rapper may have purchased the items from Costco or another wholesale company.

“I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk,” Agnifilo added.

Costco denounced the allegations in a statement to TMZ, saying it does not carry baby oil.

Combs' attorney said the Bad Boy Records founder plans to testify and is “very eager to tell his story.”

Agnifilo said she wants to tell her side of the story about the 2016 hotel security video of Combs assaulting Kathy Ventura, his ex-girlfriend of nearly 10 years.

“I think he has his story, a story that only he can tell in a way that he can tell it in real time,” he said. “And this is a human story. It's a love story. It's a heartbreak story. It's a heartbreak story.”

The rapper could also be questioned about the details of a November 2023 lawsuit that accused Ventura of rape, abuse and forcing him to have sex with a prostitute.

Agnifilo is aware that the video of Combs abusing Ventura will be featured in court, but insists it is unrelated to the charges for which his client was arrested.

“It's hard for everyone to watch,” Agnifilo said of the video. “That being said, this is not evidence of sex trafficking. Mr. Combs' 10-year relationship with the woman he was in love with included some level of toxicity and drug use.”

He continued, “Their difficulties did not stem from the intimate time they spent together. Their problems stemmed from her cheating on him and him cheating on her.” …That has nothing to do with the charges.”

Combs apologized for his actions when the video was leaked earlier this year.
