Tower faced accusations of drug abuse and sexual assault – Sound familiar? –But those weren't even the main factors in his defeat, Jeff writes, “it was primarily a matter of coordination within the party.”
Long story short, don't hold your breath. “The landscape in the Senate suggests a surprising, almost contemptuous challenge to Trump. Confirm my selection or I will hold the appointment without your vote — is likely to be successful. ”
