Alleged Intruder Dead After Philadelphia Woman Opens Fire

On Friday, a Philadelphia woman spotted an intruder in her apartment and opened fire, killing one suspected intruder and wounding a second.

W.P.VI. report The woman returned to her apartment early in the morning, found the person she believed to be the intruder, and shot him to death around 2 a.m., police said.

She allegedly struggled with one of them and fired a total of 13 shots.

One of the intruders died, and the other was arrested after going to the hospital for treatment of his wounds.

CBS News I got it. There was also a third intruder in the apartment, and the three men allegedly tried to impersonate police officers.

Wilson, a woman who lives nearby, told CBS News she was assaulted on her way to work several months ago and is now looking to move out of the area.

“You’re scared to go to work. You’re scared to go home. Now you’re scared to be in your own home,” Wilson said.
