Alleged Intruder Shot Multiple Times By Virginia Homeowner

A Fairfax, Virginia, homeowner was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning after shooting an alleged intruder multiple times.

Will reported The homeowner called police at 911 around 2:03 a.m., suspecting someone was trying to break into his home. While the homeowner continued to call, the alleged intruder continued to attempt to gain entry.

fox 5dc noticed The homeowner was “still in the line of fire when shots were fired.” He shot and killed the alleged intruder, inflicting serious, life-threatening injuries. The alleged intruder was hospitalized in critical condition. According to WUSA9.

Police suggested that the suspected intruder assaulted someone in a nearby home before ultimately being shot while trying to break into the home.

There were no injuries to the homeowner or anyone inside the home.

Breitbart News notes that a gas station clerk in St. Clair County, Alabama, shot and killed a knife-wielding robbery suspect around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

CBS42 identified The suspect who died was 44-year-old Timothy Jones. He was from Hale County, Alabama, and was shot and killed during a suspected robbery attempt.
