NFL schedule releases are always a highlight, and this year, the Buffalo Bills once again showed their creativity. General Manager Brandon Bean decided to involve MVP quarterback Josh Allen in a rather unique way—he simply asked Allen if he had any ideas for the reveal. Allen joked, “We just use AI. That’s what everyone is doing.”
It’s interesting how Artificial Intelligence has become such a trending tool now, but the suggestion from Allen pretty much set the stage for what Bean was thinking. While Allen played basketball instead of throwing a football, Bean cleverly integrated another “AI” into the mix—none other than NBA Hall of Fame guard Allen Iverson.
During a web call, Iverson was initially confused, asking, “Why are you here?” to which Bean responded, “I want the Buffalo Bills to be revealed for the 2025 schedule.” Iverson appreciated that it was Allen who initially inspired this line of questioning, asking if it meant the quarterback would genuinely use AI.
Bean laughed, saying, “You’re the only AI I know.” With that, Iverson was on board and agreed to manage the schedule release. He even humorously offered to handle the paperwork for all 17 games and the bye week, although he seemed less than thrilled about the final question from Bean regarding an “invoice.” With a grin, he replied, “Go Josh Allen,” showcasing his loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys amidst the Bills’ excitement.
Looking ahead, the Bills are gearing up for a promising 2025 season, highlighted by a matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in a Sunday Night Football game and a rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs on November 2—a notable clash following the AFC Championship Game.
