On Saturday, New York City FC triumphed over the New York Red Bulls with a score of 2-0 at Citifield during the latest Hudson River Derby.
The match kicked off with NYCFC taking the lead in the 13th minute, thanks to a right-footed strike from Alonso Martinez, who beautifully placed the shot into the top left corner from outside the box.
Then, in the 50th minute, Maxi Moralez doubled the lead. He found the net with a left-foot shot from the center of the box, with Martinez assisting on the play.
