New Collaborations for F1 2027 Season

F1 is set to welcome fresh faces to the lineup in the 2027 season.

Alpine announced this morning that the renowned luxury brand Gucci will continue as the team’s title partner for the 2027 season and beyond. They’ve officially rebranded as the “Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team,” and a new entity called “Gucci Racing” has been created as part of this partnership.

Flavio Briatore, serving as Alpine’s Executive Advisor, expressed his pride in associating with such a prestigious brand like Gucci. He mentioned, “We’re thrilled about what our partnership with Gucci can achieve globally. The Enstone team has a history of innovation and has shown that fashion can lead in F1.”

He emphasized that the collaboration comes as the team enjoys improved performance on the track, boasting its highest points tally to kick off the season. He thanked Luca de Meo, CEO of Kering, and Francesca Bellettini, President and CEO of Gucci, for their trust in the project and their efforts to make this partnership possible.

As highlighted by de Bellettini, this marks the first time a luxury fashion brand has entered the F1 grid.

“This partnership with the Alpine F1 Team starts a new chapter,” de Bellettini noted. “Gucci is the first luxury fashion house to become a title partner in F1. It reflects our aspirations for the brand and the role we envision Gucci playing in this dynamic environment. Today’s F1 is a unique mix of performance, culture, and global outreach, and the Alpine F1 Team is committed to bringing this vision to life. Gucci Racing is not just about being part of the grid; it’s a manifestation of our identity and where we aim to take the brand. There’s much more on the horizon.”

He also expressed gratitude to Alpine and the Renault Group for sharing this ambitious vision.

The team will sport Gucci’s colors next season, complete with a distinctive logo featuring the iconic interlocking G and the Gucci Racing wordmark.

Alpine, as Briatore noted, is off to a strong start this season. Franco Colapinto achieved a personal best with a sixth-place finish at the recent Canadian Grand Prix, placing the team fifth in the F1 Constructors’ Championship standings, having earned 35 points.
