Turning Point USA to Host Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show

Turning Point USA, a conservative nonprofit founded by Charlie Kirk, has revealed plans to organize a distinct halftime show for the upcoming Super Bowl scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The event, named the “All American Halftime Show,” will take place instead of the regular performance by three-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny, who has been a polarizing figure among NFL fans since his breakout in 2016.

In light of this, Turning Point USA is in the process of gathering a lineup of musical artists, with specific details to be shared later. “We’re excited to announce the All-American Halftime Show,” the organization announced on social media, promising to disclose performer names shortly.

On a different note, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, has recently voiced his worries about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He mentioned earlier this month that he chose not to book U.S. tour dates out of concern that fans might be detained by ICE agents during his concerts. “It’s a valid concern,” he remarked, explaining, “There could be ICE agents at my concerts, and that really worries us.”

Additionally, he recorded and shared a video of what he described as a local ICE raid in Puerto Rico, expressing frustration over the agency’s actions in the community. He pointed out that these operations are affecting families, which he found deeply troubling.

Interestingly, prior to the announcement of the Super Bowl halftime show, Bad Bunny hinted at performing in the U.S. during what he characterized as a “date,” which later turned out to be linked to his participation in the halftime event.
