Amanda Bynes refutes claims that Dan Schneider made her pregnant at 13

Amanda Bynes has addressed the rumor circulating that Dan Schneider, a former Nickelodeon producer, got her pregnant when she was just 13. The 39-year-old actress recently clarified that a TikTok video that seemed to support these claims is actually fake, as reported by TMZ.

Bynes explained that the video was edited to mix unrelated clips, aiming to create “clickbait lies.” She pointed out that her first TikTok was a follow-up to a recent Instagram Story featuring her boyfriend.

The TikTok, which has since been removed, came from a fan account and displayed text saying “All That Alum” along with “The Man I Got Pregnant With When I Was 13! 😭.” The clip then transitions to a scene of a younger Bynes in a bathtub with Schneider, taken from a sketch on her show, The Amanda Show, which aired between 1999 and 2002.

The police have reached out to Schneider’s representatives for a comment. Schneider has a history of creating shows like The Amanda Show, All That, and iCarly. He faced serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving child actors in the 2024 documentary series “Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”

This series accused Schneider of maintaining a toxic work atmosphere and employing several known sex offenders. He parted ways with Nickelodeon in March 2018 and later sued the producers of “Quiet on Set” for defamation.

In a statement regarding the documentary, Schneider reflected on his earlier career at Nickelodeon, acknowledging his past mistakes but asserting that the documentary misrepresented him. He claimed they not only distorted the truth but also falsely insinuated his involvement in crimes related to actual child predators.

Bynes stepped away from acting at 24 and soon after faced legal troubles, including a drunk driving charge in 2012. In 2013, she was involuntarily hospitalized, leading her parents to establish a conservatorship, which finally ended in 2022. Yet, in 2023, she was found in distressing circumstances in downtown Los Angeles and placed under psychiatric care again.

In recent updates, Bynes has shared her weight loss journey with the help of Ozempic and mentioned starting an OnlyFans account back in April.
