Amanda Seyfried and her husband, Thomas Sadoski, have decided to end their marriage after nine years together.
The couple released a joint statement to a publication, informing that they have been separated “for a while,” and that pursuing a divorce is the best decision for their family. They expressed, “We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever — and it’s GOOD.”
Earlier this year, Seyfried had mentioned in an interview that Sadoski makes significant sacrifices for her career, acknowledging the “insane” opportunities she’s been given, while also admitting that she often has to say no to various offers.
Seyfried and Sadoski first crossed paths in 2015 while working on an Off-Broadway production. They later reunited during the film “The Last Word,” began dating the following year, and eloped in March 2017, shortly before welcoming their first child, a daughter named Nina. They expanded their family with the birth of their son, Thomas Jr., in September 2020.
They had managed to keep their family life relatively private, residing on a farm in upstate New York, where they raised their two children. Seyfried occasionally shared glimpses of her life on social media, showcasing her animals and moments with her kids.
