Amazon’s popular Prime Video superhero series the boys Amazon is currently airing an episode about a political assassination, but the company points out that the episode was filmed several months ago and claims that any similarities to the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump are completely “unintentional.”
The Season 4 finale, which premieres Thursday, was originally titled “Assassination Run,” but now has a disclaimer before its start time.
“The final episode of the season the boys “This production contains fictional scenes of political violence that some viewers may find disturbing,” the statement said, “particularly in light of the injuries and tragic death of former President Trump during the assassination attempt.”

The show’s creators and producers have also dropped the previous title, and the episode is now simply titled “Season 4 Finale.”
The official description of the episode states that it took place on “January 6th.”

Despite claims that the series is fiction, creator and showrunner Eric Kripke has maintained that the series is intended as an attack on Donald Trump, and recent episodes have included storylines about the trial of former politicians that allude to the legal battle against Donald Trump.
