America-Loving, Trump-Dancing Christian Pulisic Suffers Calf Tear That Will See Him Out Until January

This blows, but it could’ve been much worse.

Christian Pulisic, the soccer superstar of the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) and AC Milan, will be out of commission until January after he tore a muscle in his right calf during Friday’s loss (2-1) against Atalanta, according to an announcement Monday from The Red and Blacks. Pulisic, USMNT’s captain and AC Milan’s leading scorer, was taken out of the game in the first half and substituted. An MRI scan showed he had a minor tear.

Pulisic won’t suit up in Milan for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade, and he’ll also be out for Serie A contests against Genoa, Verona and Roma — all slated for December. The Red and Blacks begin 2025 in Saudi Arabia, where they’ll square off against Juventus on Jan. 3. Pulisic could return for the contest against his USMNT teammates Tim Weah and Weston McKennie. That match will be the semifinal for the Italian SuperCup.

Pulisic will undergo a reevaluation in the near future.

Get well soon, Captain America!
