Americans are getting de-banked, but some companies are fighting back

Recently on Saturday Night Live, Weekend Update host Colin Jost made fun of Donald Trump for saying he was going to fight “debanking.” he said to thunderous applause from the seals in the audience. Unfortunately, debanking and deplatforming are becoming a frightening reality for many Americans like Jost who weren’t lucky enough to attend Harvard or marry Scarlett Johansson. be. But a new event in Las Vegas is trying to fight back and support the people and businesses who have been silenced.

This is a tactic used by elites to silence law-abiding citizens with dissident and treasonous beliefs. You wake up to find that you are not allowed to use normal banking services, accept credit card payments, host a website, or send emails to your subscribers. It was weaponized during lockdown to shut down those who questioned orthodoxy.

Fortunately, people and businesses are offering solutions to counter this trend. David Ragsdale is one of the most vocal voices organizing resistance to this technological tyranny. A lifelong Angeleno, he became involved in helping organize “Break the Mandate” rallies across the country. The organization was immediately removed from the platform for the crime of peacefully assembling.

I spoke with Ragsdale to learn about censorship and his plans to fight it.

“When we were doing Defeat the Mandate, we were deplatformed by a lot of B to B services and payment processors. “You need these services to produce an event,” he explains.

“It was really scary because we had permission from the Biden administration to have a rally at the Lincoln Memorial and we can’t use stripes?”

Immediately, the organization is thrown into a so-called parallel economy, where political refugees are now forced to try to survive outside the usual financial institutions that people take for granted, such as banks and credit cards.

During this time in exile, Ragsdale decided there needed to be a way for businesses and individuals to come together and help each other. This hope was the beginning replatform, a conference that will be held in Las Vegas from March 8th to 10th. The organization brings together a group of innovators, including inventors, financial institutions, payment networks, developers, investors, entrepreneurs, and creators, to create practical solutions that address challenges of inefficiency, stagnation, and censorship in corporate America. We aim to develop.

They hope to dismantle the national mandate system by drawing in diverse citizen groups such as social conservatives, woke progressives, people of faith, classical liberals, libertarians, and populists. .

“I hope that all the really solid people I’ve assembled will spark the magic of innovation,” Ragsdale told me. He explained that while it’s easy to write op-eds and tweet about this new corporate censorship, it’s much harder to build a viable company that offers an alternative. He hopes that by bringing together startups, businesses, consumers and investors, a real industry will begin to form.

Conferences like RePlatform are sorely needed in our country at this time. Blaze is looking forward to covering this event and reporting on the companies and people fighting for our right to be heard. If you’d like to learn more or attend an event, check out: Website.
