Americans' opinion of Republican Party on the rise

Americans' opinion of the Republican Party is on the rise, according to the latest Economist/YouGov poll.

In a public opinion poll, 45 percent of Americans said They feel “favorable” about the Republican Party, up 6 points from a late October poll by The Economist and YouGov (39 points). % said they felt favorably Toward the Republican Party.

President-elect Trump's electoral victory and impending return to the White House has left the Democratic Party reeling, with the party losing both the House and Senate to Republicans.

Debate continues within the party over the causes of Democrats' struggles in this year's polls, with some centrists saying the party has moved too far to the left and liberals saying it hasn't moved left enough. .
