On Tuesday, President Trump's nominee for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, an Army veteran and former Fox News host, was censured by Congress in what is expected to be a contentious hearing. The 2017 sexual assault allegation (which did not result in criminal charges) and alcoholism allegations were both reported by anonymous sources and are expected to be used by opponents in Congress as ammunition against the former Army National Guard officer. It was expected.
And they were.
One of his most vicious detractors was Democratic state Sen. Maisie Hirono of Hawaii.
“She's the stupidest senator in America,” says co-host Glenn Beck. Stu Bruguiere.

In the video, Hirono asked Hegseth: “Do we want to use our military to occupy Greenland or to occupy our Danish allies?”
Hegseth's response was solid. “Senator, one of the things President Trump is very good at is never strategically moving his hands. So I would be very grateful for any direct response that the President would give me in any situation. I have no intention of giving orders here in public.”
Mr. Hirono interrupted him in typical Democrat fashion and said, “It sounds to me like you're basically thinking of carrying out orders to invade Greenland.” .
Glenn and Stu can't help but laugh at Hirono's stupidity.
“I don't think there's any chance of us invading Greenland,” Stu says.
“Of course not,” Glenn agrees.
On the other hand, “Trump is, in some ways, always tweaking his hand,” Stu says. “he do I want Greenland. … He's been telling us about that for years,” but “when it comes to the specifics of what he wants and doesn't want to do in the negotiations, he offers a lot of things, but… I don't know if that's true. That's why he's such a good negotiator.”
“I don't think there's a chance [the U.S. will invade Greenland];There's a doubt in my mind that we can do it, and that's why [Trump’s negotiation style] It works,” he laughs.
