“America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh on Saturday slammed President Biden, saying he doesn’t have “many numbers” to back up his overall claim that violent crime across the country is on the decline. He accused the city of “cherry-picking” the statistics.
“He’s cherry-picking a few cities that had big crime spikes last year and may have had two fewer murders this year. That doesn’t count as crime going down. ” Walsh said. He is One Nation with Brian Kilmeade. ”
Host of the long-running true crime sensation – now Available to stream on Fox Nation – further emphasized the point while addressing Biden’s overall argument from the White House podium last month.

“Violent crime rates are going down across the country. They’re going up in some cities, but overall they’re going down,” he said.
Although the president did not provide specific numbers during his speech, he made the general assertion that crime is decreasing across the board, with a few exceptions.
Other prominent Democrats have made similar statements, including Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

But Mr. Walsh is not convinced. In his own opinion, the victim’s advocate pointed to statistics across the country. First, let’s go to Chicago. Chicago continues to receive attention for both its high crime rate and anti-crime policies.
Moving to Portland, he denounced the “defund the police” movement that rocked Portland, along with several other movements, in the wake of the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020.
“It’s insane,” he told Mr Kilmeade, highlighting his concern that in today’s world parents are especially concerned about the safety of their children.

Some cities get more attention than others. San Francisco is one such area, where multiple businesses have left the area due to crime. The nation’s capital is one too, forcing the Justice Department to commit a series of resources aimed at curbing the rising numbers.
Walsh’s comments come as fentanyl seizures remain high and many criminals across the country are calling for enforcement at the southern border to prevent further influx of drugs, including drug-related crimes. The crime was committed in the spotlight.
