Amir Khan adds NIL deal after McNeese State’s March Madness upset

McNeece State student manager Amir Khan has once again gained his viral fame after the team's stunning marching madness.

Khan has secured NIL deals with Topps Trading Cards, and will even be featured on his own cards for a limited time, the company announced Friday.

The card features a photo of Khan covered in water in the locker room of the No. 12 seed Cowboys holding his signature boombox after the team's 69-67 No. 5 Clemson takedown in Thursday's opening round.

They face No. 4 Purdue on Saturday and have a chance to reach the sweet 16.

The line in his name on the card is Amir “Aura” Kahn, and the catchphrase reads as “the first ever cowboy rally to march madness victory.”

According to the TOPPS website, it is expected to be available at 5pm on Monday, and costs $8.99.

“That means a lot. I never expected attention as a manager, so receiving all the love and support I've received over the last few weeks really means a lot to me,” Kern said in an interview with Fox Sports after the game. “But I'm trying to do what I'm doing for the team and I'm really focused on helping them do what they can on the court.”

Khan became even more viral sensation when NBA Youngboy led his team to the court with the Buffalo Wild Wings Boombox during a pre-game tunnel walk on Thursday.

A special boombox was given to him by the Buffalo Wild Wings. This is one of the other Nir deals that go with danipicks and insomnia cookies.

He has been on a boombox walk throughout the season, and it went viral when the team's social media account posted a video of it last month.

“It's exciting our guys and our guys are ready to get off to a fast start,” McNeese State coach Will Wade told CBS.

Claiming there are statistics like Wilt Chamberlin for rebounding and wiping wet areas, Kahn is loved by the team and even the school cheerleaders who wore faces and socks in the first round game available at Rock M Sox.

The Cowboys also had honest hoodies wearing socks during the contest.

“It's crazy because I never imagined this had happened before.” Khan told The Associated Press After the match. “I'm grateful for wearing it. I appreciate all the love and support I have and it means a lot to me to see him wearing it.”

McNeese State (27-6) won their second straight Southland Conference Championship with the help of Khan.

He and the team legend can only grow if they reach a sweet 16.
