Amtrak train in Wisconsin slices Amazon delivery truck in half

An astonishing video has been released showing an Amazon driver barely escaping with his life after his truck was cut in half by an Amtrak train.

Dashcam footage from a tragic November 2021 crash shows Alexander Evans’ perspective of the crash in Ixonia, Wisconsin, about 40 minutes from Milwaukee.

In the video, Evans can be seen looking in both directions before the Amtrak train barrels toward him.

In an instant, the back half of the truck disappears, replaced by the sight of an Amtrak passenger train hurtling down the tracks at 130 miles per hour.

In the video, the truck’s rearview mirror was seen hanging by a thread as Evans stared in disbelief.

The driver managed to escape the accident unharmed.

“Just air and pressure. I felt the airbag. I didn’t know what to feel, to be honest,” Evans said. WISN12 Newsand explains the incident.

He said he had stepped on the accelerator and was slowly pulling the truck out of the way before the accident.

“Literally, it was like a long beep or horn from the train, and I was like putting my foot on the gas and kind of trying. I don’t know how far I can get away from him. ” Evans said.
