Former Manchester United star Bastian Schweinsteiger and his wife, former world No. 1 tennis player Ana Ivanovich, are the subject of rumours of separation. German newspaper Bild.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2016 and with three sons together, is said to be struggling to deal with long distances.
According to the report, 40-year-old Schweinsteiger is currently in Jakarta, while 37-year-old Ivanovich lives mainly in Belgrade, Serbia.
The couple has yet to publicly address the report, and his management team informed the outlet that Schweinschiger and Ivanovich have not discussed private issues.
Ivanovic, a former German World Cup winner and the 2008 French Open winner, only made a rare reveal together this year.
Their last social media post came last November when they visited the holiday market in Vienna.
Schweinsteiger announced his retirement from playing in 2019 and has since worked as an expert on German television.
Ivanović is the founder of a natural beauty brand.
They welcomed their son Luka in 2018, followed by their second son Leon the following year.
Ivanovic gave birth to her third son, unknown in May 2023.
