Ana Navarro expressed her admiration for Richard Gere’s charm and massage abilities after their recent encounter on “The View.”
During a discussion on the talk show last week, Navarro, who’s 53, referred to the 76-year-old actor as her “dream celebrity.”
“I didn’t realize how drawn I was to him until he came over and started rubbing my neck,” she shared.
“He’s 76, and he looks amazing,” she gushed.
Gere was on the show last Friday, stopping briefly to give Navarro a shoulder squeeze before saying hello to the other co-hosts.
Navarro playfully suggested that Gere must have been aware of the effect he had on her—as if he put her in some sort of trance—since she felt close to fainting.
While sitting down on Friday, Navarro joked with Gere, saying, “He threw his arms up and said, ‘Richard, take me now.’” She mused that perhaps he gave her a neck massage because he has a liking for Latina women.
She pointed out that Gere is married to Alejandra Silva, a Spaniard, which she thought might explain his affinity.
Navarro even remarked on Gere’s good Spanish, hinting he might be ready for some future collaboration with Bad Bunny, given his comfort level with the language.
Gere and Silva, who began dating in 2014 and married in 2018, relocated to her home country last year along with their two kids, Alexander and James.
In a previous interview, Gere expressed his happiness with life in Spain, highlighting how beneficial it is for their children to grow up in that culture.
He is also the father of a 25-year-old son, Homer, from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, and Silva has a son from an earlier relationship.
