Andre Johnson's Hall of Fame ring taken in home break-in

In late July, Andre Johnson’s home was reportedly “looted.” Multiple items were taken, including his Pro Football Hall of Fame rings. This was highlighted by local police, who are pursuing criminal charges after the incident.

When officers arrived, they discovered Johnson’s bedroom door ajar and found that the windows had been smashed.

Rapper Lil’ Keke first brought attention to the robbery on social media on July 27, asking for help recovering the stolen items.

“Andre Johnson is like family to me,” Lil’ Keke shared on Instagram. “He’s the first Houston Texans player to reach the Hall of Fame and has dedicated his life and career to this city.” He emphasized the importance of bringing back these stolen items, noting their deep sentimental value.

According to reports, other cherished football memorabilia and jewelry were also taken from Johnson’s residence in addition to the rings.

Johnson, now 44, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024, marking a significant milestone as the first player from the Texans to receive this honor.

During his 12 years with the Texans, the seven-time Pro Bowler accumulated an impressive 13,597 receiving yards and scored 64 touchdowns. After his time in Houston, he briefly played with the Colts and Titans before retiring in 2016.
