Andy Dick reportedly turned blue during a suspected overdose in Hollywood

Andy Dick reportedly suffered an overdose on Hollywood Boulevard, a well-known spot in Los Angeles, alarming nearby pedestrians who thought the actor might not survive.

In a distressing scene, Dick was found sitting outside a liquor store, slumping forward with his hands and face turning blue when friends tried to assist him, as recounted by Sean Harrell, a security guard at the location.

Harrell mentioned, “I thought he was dead. They used Narcan and started performing chest compressions to revive him. He was unresponsive, and they applied multiple doses of Narcan.” Narcan is commonly administered to individuals dealing with opioid overdoses.

As paramedics arrived, Harrell chose to keep his distance, observing the hectic situation from a safe spot. The entire event lasted about ten minutes, and, surprisingly, Dick was not taken to a hospital.

“After everything settled down, he seemed fine. It was as if nothing had happened; he got up and started walking around,” Harrell noted.

While he was vaguely familiar with the actor’s face, Harrell admitted he couldn’t place a name to it. Dick’s recent public actions, including being seen on Hollywood Boulevard with alcohol, add to a concerning pattern in his life.

Just last month, he was spotted sitting and slurring his words in a similar setting. In a conversation with TMZ, Dick expressed relief about being alive and feeling well amidst the chaos of recent events.
