Andy Pettitte's son ties the knot shortly after being drafted by the Yankees

On October 4, Luke Pettitte, a Yankees prospect, married Brooklyn in a baseball-themed celebration in Houston, their hometown.

Luke, picked 248th overall in the 2026 MLB draft and son of five-time World Series champ Andy Pettitte, shared a behind-the-scenes video from their wedding at Boxwood Manor in a joint Instagram post.

The cocktail hour featured a custom seating chart crafted by Brooklyn’s dad, which included baseball bats and a sign reading, “Our people that feel like home,” as noted by Redeemed Content Co.

They also showcased wedding photos by Sage Rochelle in additional Instagram posts.

The event included baseball bat drink stirrers, themed signage, and cocktail napkins, alongside a “Little League” corner with personalized coloring books.

Guests enjoyed popcorn labeled “New York or No Where,” crackerjacks, and cotton candy served by waiters in Yankee uniforms, all while listening to Frank Sinatra’s “Theme of New York, New York.”

The video of the event was humorously captioned, “MARRY! A! YANKEE!”

A special mocktail menu offered drinks like “the sideline sweetheart” and “the two-way.”

Other fun signage declared, “Oh hey batter batter love is in full swing!!!”

During the reception, the couple shared a kiss as Luke dipped Brooklyn while guests cheered and tossed silver and blue streamers.

Luke and Brooklyn, who have been dating for three years, got engaged in May.

Luke, a right-handed pitcher and designated hitter, joined the Tampa Tarpons, a Single-A Yankees affiliate, in August.

Both attended Dallas Baptist University, where Luke played on the baseball team and Brooklyn cheered.

Andy Pettitte, recognized for his illustrious 15 seasons with the Yankees and a 3.85 ERA over an 18-year career, was part of the team’s “Core Four” alongside Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, and Jorge Posada. He currently serves as an advisor for the Yankees.
