Angel Mom Tells Senate Democrats ‘Deportation Is Necessary,’ Showing Photo of Murdered Daughter

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Patty Morin told senators that she was brutally murdered at the hands of illegal alien MS-13 gang members who safely crossed the southern border undetected in August 2023. He told the story of his daughter Rachel.

The case is considered the most gruesome murder in Maryland history.

“This is what she looked like before that day. She's a beautiful woman, but more than that, when you look at her, you just see the light that comes from her,” Patti Morin told senators while holding a photo of Rachel. spoke.

Patty Morin said her daughter's murder is why she supports President-elect Donald Trump's plan to deport illegal aliens from the United States.

“There are Americans dying every day, but law enforcement doesn't want to give the true numbers because they don't want the public to panic,” Patti Morin said.

“I think deportation is necessary. American citizens should not be afraid to live in their own homes…My daughter suffered so badly in a very brutal and violent way, and this kind of immigration should not be in our country,” she continued.

On August 5, 2023, Rachel walked the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail in Harford County, Maryland. When Rachel did not return home, her boyfriend, Richard Tobin, reported her missing. Her body was found on the roadside the next day.

On June 15, 2024, the Tulsa Police Department arrested Martinez Hernandez on suspicion of Rachel's murder.

Prosecutors allege Martinez-Hernandez brutally raped, bludgeoned and strangled Rachel to death, calling the incident one of the most horrifying in Harford County history. Martinez-Hernandez was charged in July with second-degree murder, rape, criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping.

In 2023, Border Patrol agents arrested Martinez-Hernandez three times: twice in January in New Mexico and Texas, and once in February in New Mexico. Each time he was deported to Mexico.

Shortly after his last return to Mexico, Martinez-Hernandez crossed the border to California, where he allegedly assaulted a woman and her child. He then traveled to Maryland, where he was accused of raping and murdering Rachel.

Before crossing the border, Martinez Hernandez was accused of killing a woman in his native El Salvador after leaving a bar with the victim. The woman's body was discovered several days later.
