“I’m a dog,” Reese told ESPN’s Holly Rowe after the game, “you can’t teach that. I’m going to do whatever it takes to win every night. My teammates are counting on my energy, so it’s my job to make sure we can keep that energy up whether we’re losing or winning.”
Chennedy Carter put up big numbers in just her third start for the Sky this season. She contributed 23 points and five rebounds in the win. Reese’s teammate, rookie Camila Cardozo, also added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Reese, Carter and Cardoso were the only Sky players to score in double figures.

Clark finished with 17 points, 13 assists and four steals. All 13 of those came in the first three quarters of the game. Although he had no assists in the fourth quarter, he still set a Fever franchise record for most assists in a single game.
Even with Chicago leading late in the game, the Fever still had a chance to win or force overtime, and she made one shot with 2 minutes, 19 seconds left.
