Feud between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark Intensifies
Angel Reese has sparked a continued rivalry with WNBA player Caitlin Clark, this time making a racially charged jab involving the Indiana Fever’s “White Girl.” In a recent TikTok post, Reese shared a video, noting, “white gyal running away from the fade.”
This video stemmed from a game where Clark received a penalty for Reese’s “flagrant foul,” which occurred when Reese affected a play involving one of Clark’s teammates.
During the same game, there were allegations of “racist comments” directed at Reese and her team, although these claims remain unverified.
The WNBA has announced another “investigation” into accusations regarding fan racism. Historically, these inquiries haven’t yielded evidence to confirm such claims. The league has consistently expressed its stance against racism, but finds itself lacking credible backing for allegations made.
In an interesting twist, another Black WNBA player has claimed that Clark and her supporters are racist, despite the absence of evidence. Even Clark condemned the notion of racism in the stands.
Clark stated, “Our game has no place for that. There is no place for society.” He faced insinuations of being a “racist” fan amidst the swirling rumors. Clark expressed a desire for every individual attending games to enjoy their experience, whether they are players or fans, and acknowledged the efforts of the Fever organization in promoting a positive environment.
