It’s a partnership that just seemed so logical.
In response to fan demand, WNBA rookie star Angel Reese and the popular Reese’s candy company have finally teamed up, with Reese selling merchandise that will feature her name alongside the candy’s iconic brand name.
“The connection between my name and the Reese’s brand was obvious, but it went deeper than that.” Reese spoke about the partnership in the boardroom.“My fans started calling themselves ‘Reese’s Pieces’ and I kept seeing it on social media, so I started engaging with some of my fans about it.”
The official name of Reese’s new candy-inspired merchandise is the “Angel Reese x Reese Pieces Logo Collection,” which she announced in a post to X along with a short video on Wednesday morning.
The post also announced that “two more drops are scheduled to appear.”
Reese originally posted in June, “Where was Reese’s art???”
The post caught the attention of an account for the popular Hershey’s brand of candy on X, which responded to her a few days later with a post that included an image of the headband on top of the Reese’s Pieces candy.

“It really was all thanks to my fans,” Reese said. “This collection is for the Reese’s folks who have been with me all this time.”
Reese has had quite an impressive rookie season since being selected seventh overall in this year’s WNBA Draft, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 20 double-doubles and recently scoring 19 points and grabbing a career-high 20 rebounds.

She has appeared in 27 games this year and is averaging 13.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
Reese also played in the All-Star Game this season, scoring 12 points.
