Angel Reese’s Viral Warm-Up Video
Over the weekend, a video featuring Angel Reese’s warm-up routine took social media by storm. While the original clip was deleted after millions viewed it, snippets showcasing Reese’s unconventional shooting style are still circulating online, attracting considerable attention.
The footage captures Reese sinking multiple three-pointers as she prepares for the Atlanta Dream’s matchup against the Indiana Fever. “Chucking” seems to be the most fitting term for her basketball style.
With a distinctive toe-tap of her right foot and her left hand launching the ball, her eyes following the shot as it sails, she produced some of the most unusual shots imaginable. The combination of her footwork and the sound of the rim adds an interesting flair to the video.
The shooting incident featuring Reese continues to attract buzz, particularly because she’s a paid professional athlete. It’s a bit perplexing; she has footwork typical of right-handed shooters, even though she’s left-handed, which just feels… backward.
Initially shared on X by ESPN reporter Kareem Copeland, the video was later removed. The reason behind its deletion remains unclear, especially considering it gained millions of views and countless shares. Maybe it was due to the influx of mockery concerning Reese’s style.
In the game against the Fever, Reese ended with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four turnovers, although she did miss her only three-point attempt. Notably, three-point shooting isn’t her strong suit—she’s currently hitting just 9.1% from the field as the 2026 WNBA season progresses.
