Author and evangelist Anne Graham Lotz has raised the possibility that the 2024 solar eclipse and the previous two solar eclipses could be signs from God, and in a new blog she has written about the three solar eclipses. The eclipse is so rare that it is “the first time in more than 1,000 years,” he said. The people witnessed this situation first hand. ”
“Maybe God is giving us signs from the sky?” she asks in a new blog. Website.

The April 8, 2024 solar eclipse in the United States follows the 2023 annular solar eclipse (meaning the moon is too far from Earth to completely block the sun) and the 2017 total solar eclipse. This is the third time in the past seven years. . Lotz believes that their path across the United States formed letters from the Hebrew alphabet, the same alphabet used to write the Old Testament.
“This is the first time in over 1,000 years that something like this has happened in any country,” she wrote. “The paths of the three solar eclipses that occur over our beloved nation form the Hebrew letters that represent the first and last letters of the alphabet…the beginning and the end…the alpha and the omega…that the Lord God has given us. It is also one of his names (Revelation 1:8).
“Maybe God is giving us signs from the sky?” she asked. “Is God warning us that time is running out for our nation? In some important sense, God is the Alpha of the United States of America. He is our beginning. It was founded as one nation under the Is God now letting us know that He is also our Omega? Is God warning us that the end of America as we know it is near?
“We don’t know the answers to these questions, but we do know that it all means something,” Lotz said.
Jesus “prophesied that just before the end, signs would appear in the sky, such as the sun becoming dark,” she said.Matthew 24:29). The Old Testament prophet Joel declared the same (Joel 2:31).
“Are we nearing the end as a nation?” Lotz asked.
God’s warnings in the Bible “contain implicit hope,” she noted.
“God would not warn us without an opportunity to change depending on our response,” Lotz wrote. “Is God giving us a warning of impending disaster, like Nineveh of old?… Does he give us time after the warning to turn from our sins and turn to Him? ? (Jonah 3:1-10).
“A solar eclipse is a fascinating natural phenomenon worth noting, but you also don’t want to miss any signs from heaven that it might happen. If it was a warning, you and I will know when the end comes. Do you wish you had responded differently? I believe it is time for us as a nation to get right with God. Now,” Lotz wrote. “The prophet Joel, quoted above, said it best when pleading with his people: …Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and merciful, slow to anger and slow to love. For no one knows but that the Lord will return and have mercy.”And he left a blessing…(Joel 2:13-14). It is also a time to face God properly as an individual. ”
Mr. Lotz encouraged individuals to pray the following prayers: I admit I did something wrong and I’m sorry. I turned away from you and went my own way. Please forgive me. Now I turn to you. I demand the death of Your Son Jesus as Your sacrifice for my sins and wrongdoings. I will rise from the grave to receive the eternal life that God has given me. I surrender control of my life to God. I choose to invite God into my heart and follow Him from today until heaven. Amen. “
“If enough of us pray that prayer, we can save our country,” Lotz wrote.
“But even if you were the only one to act right with God in response to His heavenly signs, you may not be able to prevent the end from coming, but whatever happens, you will be safe. It is…forever!”
