Anne Hathaway Takes the Lead on the Red Carpet

Anne Hathaway commanded attention at the premiere of her new film, “Verity.” While posing with her co-stars, the actress, who is 43, took a moment to direct photographers to ensure everyone captured the best possible shots.

In footage from the event, Hathaway can be heard instructing the photographers on where she’d be looking and encouraging the entire cast to follow her lead. The video quickly caught fire on social media, with many fans admiring her efficient approach to getting the perfect photograph.

Hathaway spoke candidly about her experiences with fans in a recent interview, mentioning how, coming out of the pandemic, everyone was feeling “a little fragile.” She emphasized the importance of a calm connection between her and her fans, as many of them had grown up with her movies.

Currently, Hathaway is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman. The couple, married since September 2012, already has two sons, Jonathan and Jack. She announced her pregnancy in June and first displayed her baby bump at the world premiere of “The Odyssey” in London.

“Verity,” which includes performances from Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett, is Hathaway’s fifth film release this year. Other projects include “The End of Oak Street,” “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “The Odyssey,” and “Mother Mary.” It’s been quite a year for her, perhaps more than she anticipated when she started working on these films over three years ago.

Reflecting on this busy year, she mentioned in an interview how it feels great to discuss projects she is passionate about—something she previously might have stressed over, but now finds joyful.
