I think Hollywood has this overarching theme that you have to be a Democrat. Beyond that, you have to go with their ideology.
Please let me know that there are issues that some of them agreed to with me. They would never say it publicly – and they said they wouldn't say it publicly – but there's a question of agreeing. Hollywood has this theme. Just as people know you have to comply with these ideologies, whether you agree with them or not, otherwise you will be cancelled like me.
Nevertheless, Wiley noted that he has seen cultural changes following President Donald Trump's landslide victory in the 2024 election.
“I think the story is separate from beating Trump and always beating Republicans,” she said. “The country shows what they want to see and I think people want to see more of these conservative views on mainstream television.”
Last month, Wiley was invited to the White House to celebrate President Trump's Black History Month.
“It was the most incredible day,” she said. “It was so many open minded, hearts were welcome, welcome and full of intelligent people, and it was so refreshing to see.”
