Another Synagogue Attacked in Trudeau’s Canada: Firebombed in Montreal

A synagogue in Montreal, Canada, was set on fire by a crude incendiary device thrown through a window overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, the latest attack on a Jewish house of worship on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's watch.

Services at Congregation Beth Tikvah were held outside Wednesday morning as the entrance to the synagogue was taped off after crude incendiary devices were thrown through windows overnight.

This is the second time in 14 months that the building has been attacked. The synagogue was targeted with a petrol bomb in November 2023, a month before Hanukkah. Wednesday's attack occurred a week before the Jewish holiday.

During a 7:20 a.m. inspection, police found two windows in the Federal CJA Building had been broken. [housing local Jewish institutions] across the street. No incendiary objects were found at the location.

Prime Minister Trudeau condemned the attack.

But it wasn't an isolated incident. Jewish institutions in both Montreal and Toronto strike This year, by gunfire.

Critics say Trudeau's anti-Israel policies are fueling anti-Semitism.
