A driver allegedly plowed into his girlfriend on a sidewalk in New Orleans, causing her to crash through a wall and die after a heated argument, police and media reports said.
Anthony Cooper, 31, is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly yelling at Anastasia Rayborn, 21, as she got out of a Ford Edge SUV, then ramming her and killing her. It is being said. Nola.com reported. Citing court documents.
According to court documents reported by the newspaper, Cooper is accused of accelerating into a residence at a high rate of speed, striking Ms. Rayborn and sending her through a wall.
According to reports, Laybourne and Cooper shared a 2-year-old toddler together during their relationship, and their families have been at loggerheads over this.

The two started dating when Rayborn was just 17 and Cooper was 27. Guillory said the two had been “couchsurfing” recently.

The brother also noted that she gave Laybourne a “safe word” as concerns about the toxic relationship were growing.
“I bailed her out of situations many times,” she said. “I’m furious. That’s how I feel.”
The fatal crash was initially considered a car accident, but was later reclassified as a homicide.
Cooper was taken into custody at the scene. This was announced by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to WWL, Rayborn was remembered by her sister as a “beautiful angel.”
