It continues to get worse for the Mavericks.
After losing star Kyrie Irving to a season-ending ACL injury, ESPN's Shamscharania came up with the idea on Tuesday that Anthony Davis, who is on the sidelines by the adductor, could also sit for the rest of the season.
“I think he, his representatives, are going to cuddle,” Charania said on the “Pat McAfee Show.” “I think they're going to have a very difficult conversation. The last time I saw AD this season was not from the realm of the possibility that one game was one game.”
Davis was injured in his first game with the Mavericks after being traded by the Lakers on the infamous Luka Donsic's contract.
Star Big Man was reportedly expected to go out for about a month at the time.
Davis's obscure status adds to what has become a disastrous month for the franchise.
Mavericks fans staged boycotts and protests at the arena after the team traded Donis in one of the most scrutinized moves in NBA history.
On Monday morning, hours before Irving injured his knee, the Mavericks sent out season ticket holder updates. This marked an 8.61% increase in overall average price increases.

The injured Mavericks currently sit in 10th place in a 32-30 record, 3 1/2 games (three loss columns) with 20 games remaining.
The miserable month comes a year after the NBA Finals run, where the Mavericks run behind Don Sic and Irving, and it's unlikely that they'd fallen to the Celtics in five games.
