Live Like an NBA Star for $40 Million
If you have $40 million to spare, you can experience life like an NBA All-Star.
Anthony Davis, the center for the Mavericks, has listed his eight-bedroom mansion in Los Angeles for $39.9 million. This comes after an in-season trade that brought him to the Mavericks from the Lakers, as reported by TMZ.
Davis, now 32, made the move to Dallas in February following what many considered a surprising trade involving Luka Doncic.
The massive property, spanning 17,254 square feet, is situated in the exclusive Bel Air Crest community. It boasts an impressive array of amenities.
Highlights of the home include elevators, game rooms, gyms, barber shops, lounges, theaters, wet bars, wine cellars, tennis courts, Olympic-sized pools, outdoor kitchens, and even batting cages.
The residence is said to feature a wellness center complete with a bathtub and sauna. Notably, the property also includes a playhouse for children that has its own heating and air conditioning system.
Jordan Cohen of Remax is handling the listing for this stunning estate.
Davis didn’t plan to part ways with Los Angeles, but Texas has become his professional base. He has signed on with the Mavericks for two more seasons, carrying a $62.8 million player option for the 2027-28 season before becoming a free agent.
His 2024-25 season was hampered by injuries, limiting him to just 51 games. He averaged 24.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
The Mavericks are counting on a healthy Davis, alongside the first overall pick, Cooper Flagg, to mend some of the fan dissatisfaction stemming from past team decisions and to position the franchise back in contention.
Davis underwent offseason surgery for a detached retina in his right eye, affecting his performance last season. According to ESPN, he should be ready in time for training camp. Recently, he shared a cryptic emoji message on his Instagram story.
